ComplexCon Merch 2019 & 2021
Concepted and designed exclusive merchandise for multiple brand partnership activations for the last two ComplexCons.
THE CHALLENGE: In 2019 we needed to make customized merch options for an international sneaker cleaning brand looking to make a big splash in the States at one of the biggest events for sneaker consumers. In 2021 several clients were trying to find ways to help people feel comfortable coming back outside to socialize, shop and more on the heels of the pandemic.
In 2019 I made an exclusive capsule for sneaker cleaner brand KIWI that included a tote bag, 2 socks, an over-shoulder bag and sneaker bag. The items completely sold out.
In 2021 I was able to make an exclusive t-shirt for the NBA that could only be acquired with a ticket you earned for participating with the on floor activation. I also designed the ticket needed to get the shirt. There were no shirts left, not even for staff. Additionally, I designed an exclusive tote bag for Gillette. ALL of these brands were excited to have produced such coveted items for one of the biggest consumer weekends.
I worked on these items from concept mocks all the way to having the production vendors manufacture the pieces. I presented the ideas to the clients and walked them through every round while helping them understand what would work best with the audience.
